サーンチー第１塔西塔門。
柱にも梁にもぎっしりりと彫刻が施されている。両端が渦巻き模様になっているのは、他の塔門と同じである。
彫刻のないのっぺらぼうの６本の細柱は、補修したようである。
方柱の上で梁を支える彫刻は塔門によって異なり、ここ西塔門は財宝神クラーベ（または豊饒神ヤクシャ）である。その布袋腹の造形も面白い。
