第１塔西塔門～仏教彫刻 Upper part of the Western torana

サーンチー第１塔西塔門。
柱にも梁にもぎっしりりと彫刻が施されている。両端が渦巻き模様になっているのは、他の塔門と同じである。蚊取り線香のようなデザインが印象的である。
彫刻のないのっぺらぼうの６本の細柱は、補修したようである。
